Description: Calling all youth! Come hang out with an evening of food and fun
Friday, May 22
Time: 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Location: Archery Range - Hay Wall
Summary: Toutie Fruity Bunny Shoot
Description: The "Toutie Fruity Bunny Shoot" kids shoot is for children eight years and older who have experience at archery. There are fifteen different colored eggs on the target with different point values. Each archer will shoot six arrows at fifteen yards for score. The archer will then shoot at ten yards and score. The top three archers will win an assortment of “Toutie Fruity” treats. Be careful in not hitting the bunny!!! NOTES: For Experienced Shooters Ages 8+

Location: Archery Range - Hay Wall
Summary: Snakes and Ladders
Description: The "Snakes and Ladders" kids shoot is for children six years and older. Each archer shoots six arrows at a distance of 15, 10 and 5 yards at the target. If the archer hits a snake, they take the score of the square at the bottom of the snake. If the archer hits a ladder, they take the score of the square at the top of the ladder. If the archer hits the target anywhere else, they just take the score of that square.
The archer with the top score wins the competition. NOTES: For kids 6+

Summary: Youth - Shield Design
Description: The youth will learn and create their own shield device on a T shirt.
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Summary: Pan Pipers hosted by Lettice Blythe
Description: Come make your very own panflute at Youth Point! The panflute is one of the oldest instruments in the world, and very fun to play. Great entertainment while at war! Open to children of all ages, class limit 15.

Summary: Youth - Torchlight Tourney
Description: Standard elimination-style Tournament for Youth Combatants. Households and War Bands are encourage to cheer on participants.

Description: There will be instructional archery shoot for kids of all ages.

Summary: Creature Masks hosted by Lady Moriah ferch Arthur
Description: Masks have been made for hundreds of years for celebrations and telling stories. Come make your own FIERY dragon or Gallant horse mask to use in the parade later today. NOTES: Ages 6 - up, limit 16 students, cost $2 per student

Summary: Youth - Potrero Mementos hosted by Lady Anne Godwin of Tewesbury
Description: The activity includes potpourri sachet, good-luck amulet, and a leather medal. Come construct a memento of your War experience.

Summary: Beginning Recorder hosted by Lettice Blythe
Description: Learn to play an instrument! Children are invited to come and learn how to play a simple song on the recorder and will get their very own instrument to take home. After class, kids are invited to join us on a parade led by Baroness Muirrenn and add their music to the fun! Maximum class size 12.

Summary: Youth - Finger Looming hosted by Lady Rachel ferch Arthur
Description: The easy-to-use, hands-on loom that goes everywhere you go because it’s you’re fingers! This easy to do craft will allow you to make a small scarf for this class. NOTES: Ages 8 - up, Limit 12 students, Cost $1 per student

Location: Archery Range - Hay Wall
Summary: Dragon Shoot
Description: The "Dragon Shoot" is for kids six years and older. The object is to slay the dragon. The dragon will have different point values. The event will start by shooting six arrows at the ten yard line and scoring the round. Then second round will take place at the seven yard line and scoring. The archer with the highest score will win a prize.

Summary: Youth - Parade
Description: Everyone loves a parade! All youth are invited to grab instruments in join in our Pied Piper Parade! NOTES: It's a parade! We will celebrate the youth of Caid with a parade around site.

Summary: Youth - Spinning with a drop spindle hosted by Siobhan Chantoiseau de Long Pont sur Orge
Description: Learn to make your own yarn! Before there were spinning wheels, there were spindles. You can spin almost anywhere if you do it on a drop spindle. Class will start with the basics.

Instructor will provide fiber and a spindle for each student. NOTES: Ages 9 - 11, maximum 5 students
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Summary: Paper Puppet Making hosted by Lady Kaide
Description: We will cut out colorable paper puppets with the children. We will be using scissors, glue, paper and Popsicle sticks to make puppets that the kids can use as characters in a play.

Summary: Hay Wall - Kids Champion
Description: The "Kids Champion Royal Round" will decide the kids champion for Potrero War. The archers will shoot six arrows at the 20, 15 and 10 yard line. The highest score wins the prize.

Summary: Youth Throwing Competition
Description: The Youth competition will consist of multiple throws of axes, knives, and spears.

Description: Come sing along with us! Kids of all ages are invited to have fun singing and learning the history behind these (mostly) period songs.

Summary: Family Concert hosted by Lady Maluchka Korotkova
Description: Join us for an evening of performances sure to leave laughter on your lips, and joy in your heart. Bards from all over the knowne world will share stories, music, dance, and fun for all ages! We will start with content for the youngest audience members and work our way up as we go.

Dress warmly, bring a blanket to share, a flashlight for the way back, and don't forget your chair!
