Potrero War

All of the Archery shoots scheduled this year will BEGIN at the scheduled time. If you wish to participate, please arrive at the archery range 10 minutes prior to the shoot's scheduled time to join the lists.

Also, if you wish to shoot at anything other than the Hay Wall, you must have a current SCA authorization card.We advise, for your convenience that you authorize prior to war If you are unable to do so, there will be scheduled authorization periods at war. Authorization periods will be held at the following times ONLY:

Thursday 3pm-5pm

Friday 9am-10am 12:30pm-1:30pm

Saturday 9am-10am 12:30pm-1:30pm

The Hay Wall will be open for practice and Beginner archers Friday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4:30pm and Saturday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm . Also Sunday 10am to 2:30pm

Queen's Champion Archery will be held at Potrero War this year! HRH Cassandra has graciously requested that we issue a summons to the greatest archers in the kingdom. The QC Tournament will be in the form of an IKAC. Out of respect for Her Highness, we ask that only those who are willing to perform the duties as her champion enter their names for consideration. The foremost duty of the champions is actually attending the majority of court events.

The Lord Cristofanus will be bringing his moving target to War again this year and we will be putting it to use between shoots!

It is out understanding that the Calafian Archers have beaten the spirit out of Altavia so there may not be a Calafia v. Altavia competition this year. However, if these reports are false (or this call to arms riles them), we will be holding it on Sunday after the Royal Round.

There will be prizes awarded this year to the Potrero Champion (best single Royal score) as well as Best in Rank and, of course, Potrero Youth Champion.
