UPDATES: WAR is coming!!
This year Potrero War will be from Thursday, May 21st to Monday, May 25th. There are many diverse activities and events scheduled for this war. They include Arts and Sciences classes, armored, rapier, unarmored combat, archery and thrown weapons, activities and combat for youth, and special events. Check back often for updated information. We're looking forward to another fantastic weekend of fighting, feasting, and fun!
There have been some changes to the website and to the Potrero procedures and policies this year, so please take a good look around and make sure you aren't missing any crucial information.
LAND ALLOCATION is open. Land allocation will close on May 5th at 11PM. Allocated land will be held until 7PM on Friday, May 22nd. Any allocated land that is unclaimed at that time will be released for open camping. If you didn't get a chance to land allocate, overflow camping will be available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.
PRE-REGISTRATION is open. The park opens at 10AM on Thursday, May 21st for Pre-Registered Guests and noon for all others. All pre-registration forms postmarked after April 29th will NOT be accepted and will be returned to sender.
VOLUNTEER SIGN UP is open. Wars do not happen without the giving and sharing of time and energy, and your two-hour volunteer shift makes this event possible. Many hands make light work. Please help us make this event fun and run smoothly for everyone. Itís also a great opportunity to meet new people and have new experiences. If you have any questions, please contact .
